    New to Sawmill Creek

I finally got a confirmation email from Sawmill Creek so I can post here. I've been reading the last few days and it looks like a good group. I thought I'd start out by posting a pic of a piece of SC cherry burl that I turned a while ago. This was releived from certain death by machinery on the side of a road construction project. Three cherry trees within about 15 feet of each other and all three had nice sized burls.

It measures about 4" in diameter by 3.5" tall
    Finished with laquer

    Raymond -

Welcome to the Creek! This is a great place to hang out.

Thanks for the welcome! I look forward to posting some more of my work and seeing more of yours.

I've not heard of the Picture Police but I know better than post a 1200 x1800 / 300 DPI / 1.5 Mb JPEG file if that's what you mean. I'm no stranger to web site graphics and photoshop.
