    Christmas Keeping Chests

Some Keeping Chests I made for my brothers and sister for Christmas. They are Charles Neil style Keeping Chests. I shrunk down the original size because we are going to use them to hold my older brother's ashes. They are finished with a mixture of General Finishes Dyes, 1 coat of Seal A Cell, followed by 5 coats of Arm R Seal. I applied 2 coats of Charles Neil's blotch control before dying. That stuff works great. Hardware is from Horton Brasses. They were an enjoyable and educational build.
