    Christmas Stools for Grankids

I had a slab of unknown wood that I think is pecan and my wife asked if I could make a stool for the grandkids. I split the slab and turned a few legs from some BLM and after a bit of coutouring of the seat (to fit little rear ends) the grankids have a couple of neat gifts. These are the perfect height (11") to pull up to a standard coffee table for card games with Grandma!!!

They look like great stools that will be cherished for generations. Sign and date them so your great-grandchildren will know when you made them.

Mike, a very long time ago, my great uncle spent weeks with me in his shop at the base of the house. We made planter boxes hanging from side wires. I love having that memory!!! Although I suck at flatwork...you have planted a seed and made some really cool seats! Well done Grandpa!!
