2 Grizzly Bandsaws. What's the difference?

I'm looking at the Grizzly G0511 and G0507 bandsaws.

The 511 is 5hp, and the 507 is 3hp.
Both have the exact same price.
Think that's a typo?

The Grizzly 507's list price is $1495. However, if you click on the "Outlet Store" section you'll see it's selling for $1,195. That could be considered the deal of the century. I don't know what you're looking to do with the saw, but most would probably find 3hp to be sufficient. Hope this helps.

But what's up with the 511 having 5hp, and selling for the same price? The specs also show they both weigh the same, which is hard to believe, also.

I just looked the info up again and Grizzly has them both at $1,195. That was a change from the info I had before. They look the same to me. Can't help with any reasonable difference now, except the motor. Looks like the 5 hp should be the winner.

They are the same saw, the motor is the only differance.They are going fast.They have the 3 HP left .I just got the last 5 HP they had left.

I knew I should have checked this last night! I would have had a new bandsaw had I looked it up and saw the 5hp version for 1195! Aww well... I was saving for a laguna anyways
