    Running out of rough-outs

Only have a few left, then I can start all over LOL!

Hickory, bark wasn't having any part of this deal and headed all over the shop. 7 x 6 x 3 1/4 x 1/4 shy. Just a wipe of BLO until I get some more finishing stuff in here. When I get back to turning new bowls, I believe I am going to change up the design a bit and not go so deep.

Beautiful chunk of wood! I would be tempted to burn (pyro) the rim just so that it would stand out...

That is a great looking bowl Ken. I agree with Steve and would burn the edge.

What a spectacular piece of wood. I don't think you lost anything when the bark came off. Beautiful

Amazing looking bowl there. I'd leave the edge, but there again, what do I know? LOL.

Very pretty wood Ken. I like the NE bowls without bark as much as I like them with it.
