Yikes!! This thing really is a Monster!!

I was about to purchase a Powermatic 3520B from an online retailer, but I saw a post for this one in the Classifieds here on SMC two or three weeks ago.

It is less than 2 years old and in like new condition. I saved a bunch of bucks for sure. Thank you SMC!!!!!

This thing is a MONSTER. It makes my Nova DVR 3000 look like a mini!

    Thanks for looking,
    Gerald

A DVR 3000 AND a PM3520??? Please take this in the supportive spirit it's intended... I hate you so hard. I may be a little jealous. Or a lot. Congratulations.

Thank you Scott. SWMBO told me to get busy and make something with that big machine. So what do I do? I practice turning small finials.

Hello John. First, I was certainly very happy for your surviving the Widow Maker. My number 2 step son had survived the Widow Maker earlier this year. He required 3 stents. He was very lucky as were you. I am amazed how quickly you are recovering. A lot of prayers were answered. Be well, John.

I was thinking of keeping the Nova DVR now that it looks like a mini, but I think the SWMBO would give me a little heat if I did that. So, yes, I will be selling it. I also have a Jet mini that is on wheels which gets used to buff things with the Beall system.

Congrat's on the "new" lathe. I remember that post quite well (wiping drool). She will only be a little po'd so keep 'em both. One of them should be good for finials or pens while the big stuff is getting turned!
