Bad scenario, great outcome. Christopher Columbus said, "A good path to living to an old age is to contract a life threatening disease and nurse yourself daily to stay in good health. Next month is 11th anniversary of my heart attack. I remember it like it was yesterday and life hasn't been the same since. It's been better as it will be for John. Aside from the fear every time I eat the wrong thing and get gas pains, I make sure I enjoy every minute. I am sure John will do the same. My walking buddy is a retired State cop in perfect shape and ate the right diet. His heart attack was a widow maker that he survived. Now when we walk, it is with more purpose.
Welcome to the group of us who are annuities for our doctors. Sorry this happened, John, but you're going to live long enough to be a "dirty old man" if you so desire.
My wishes for a fast recovery and my thanks to "The Big Guy" that he wasn't ready for you just yet.
