Thanks to Jim Stastny for pen blanks

Jim was kind enough to send me a large carton of pen blanks. Most will be used for the Freedom Pen Program, however, this one is "Going Home" to JIM!

It was such a beautiful piece of Spalted/ Quilted Maple that when Steve asked if I could make him a pen, It HAD to be from this blank!

I stablized it With Minwax Wood Hardener.

I just logged on after a day or two away and I just found your message. All I can say is WOW That's one fine looking pen coming my way. THANK YOU.

However, better than recieving this pen is knowing that such great pens will sent to our men and women who're laying thier lives on the line in the cause of freedom.
