    Morning Bob

Almost everything I scroll is 1/4 inch. I cut 3 at a time. That way I have 2 to sell and 1 to keep. The other 2 were Mahogany.

    Hi Ron

I have made a few of my own patterns. Mostly enhanced from a picture I found. I even had one published in Woodworkers Journal in 1996. If I had enough talent to draw patterns I would not be covering myself with sawdust.

Very Nice Job! I've found scroll work to be very relaxing but never really cared for the majority of the projects. What you've done with the contrast of wood is really stunning!

    How long does it take

to cut out one like that? I bought a DeWalt scroller but sold it shortly thereafter. I don't have the patience for such. I wish I did, though, I've seen some nice work.

I know scrolling is not for everyone. My wife tried and found it to be too tedious. That piece took approx 4 hours to cut. I took my time and paid close attention to making nice sharp corners. That always takes extra time.

    Looks great, Terry!

And here I thought that you and Ray were just piddlin' with the one in Ray's shop--it wasn't until later that I found out it wasn't working right.

Hopefully see you again on 4/12!

    Nice Scroll Project Terry

What are the specs on your scroll saw?

My experience after buying three saws is that you get what you pay for and the high quality saws make the job more enjoyable. Wish I had a Hegner!

I guess you have heard of Wildwood Designs

    Nice work Terry,

What is your favorite type of blade for this scrolling?
