    New Rikon Lathe?

    Has anyone seen or purchased the new Rikon 30-700 wood lathe? I checked their website and it appears to be nearly identical to Grizzly G0632 and the Jet 1642. However the price I found ($1700) is in the middle of the two. Question is what makes it more expensive than grizzly, but less than Jet?

    The Woodcraft in my area uses Rikon lathes in their workshop for Demos and classes. The only problem I've heard about them is the alignment of the headstock and the tailstock. Thats a must for a good lathe for me.

    Don't have a Rikon lathe but have 18 bandsaw that I love NO problems at all other then it's like 380# and hard to move.
