    THanks! You really don't want much of a finish for a work bench. I just applied a couple of coats of wipe on poly, just to barely seal the pores.

    you're in a whole different league when you're using a masterpiece to create masterpieces. that top looks smoother than a prom queen's thigh.

    You Re too kind! The "prom queen's thigh" analogy is a keeper! It could replace "flatter than piss on a plate" that was the reference point for very smooth water back in my rowing days.
