Be careful with the finish. A friend is an auto painter and he put the slickest flame job on his boards with lacquer. He was so proud of these boards when he first debuted them to family and friends. Unfortunately they wouldn't hold a bag. If you didn't put the bag right through the hole you were screwed. So you might experiment a little with the final finish.

I had never heard of a "cornhole board" before either. I had heard some salacious references to "cornhole" but never to a board. However, Wikipedia is your friend. It's a game of some kind.
