    Lightbulb Art Deco

Here's the deal. I have this thirty-something son, a baker. you know, breads. Just one of the litter. He has expressed am interest in a piece of furniture. His Papa makes some of that stuff. Anyway, he knows it free then. Naturally, I am agreeable, but warn about the time to figure it out and do it.

His request-an Art Deco dresser. I just delivered an Art deco table yesterday to his younger sister. Vermillion and canary with a wiped and rubbed lacquer finish and waxed to low gloss. That'a another tale after I have pix.

Not a dimension as yet, but it has to fit in a hatch back car. He has to pick up, only way to get the kid to visit.

So lets kick off this forum. What is needed is a list of features, materials, elements, characteristics that define the essense of an Art Deco dresser. The challenge-cover every one of them. There is no pressure, I don't have to have this done until 3/3/02. Feed me! Of course, you must include not only design elements, but construction details, too!

    Pretty simple

Dave, pretty easy, really. Go to the site with the image and save it locally to your hard drive. Remember where you saved it, then go out here and post your "reply" or new thread. When done, (this is important) "preview" your post. Once that's out of the way, it's NOW time to go to the file attaching. Simply browse out to the location of the pic you saved and attach it. The forum software will then upload it directly from your PC. Done. Try it...You'll like it.

    Close but no cigar

Dave's picture is of a nice dresser but is not a Deco piece. However, ironically the piece just to the left of it appears to be deco-like. Unfortunately we need to see more of it.

I don't have any examples, sorry.
