Thumbs down Problem with Grizzly G0704 mill

I have 2 issues with this mill. This mill was 10 months old with easy use when the motor and rpm sensor burnt out. The motor got so hot it started to melt the surounding plastic box. I had been milling with a 1/4" round nose end mill to groove the edge of 1/4" HRS. This particular duty cycle was just short of 3 hours.

My second issue and this is the one that angers me the most is the indifferent attitude I get from their customer service. I was told they are aware of issues with this motor and replacement parts are due the 3rd week of June. I have been down for 1 month. I am sure there are others who have waited longer. If there is such a problem with these motors wouldn't you put a shipment together and send it to the U.S. by FedX instead of on a cargo ship?

Not sure I will keep this mill after it gets repaired.

Are you using a high quality extension cord or have good electric system where machine is?

Import motors need 1st class feeds..

You can ask for the cash and buy a motor of your choice, I did that with my HF TS
