    Walnut Potpourri

Walnut 6.5 x 3 potpourri bowl. This is a thank you for our special speaker at the church this week. I've made many things for him in the past, so this time, I decided to make his wife something.

I've not been real fond of the pewter potpourri lids/covers that you can purchase through some woodturning catalogs. But .... I love these made by IllumaLid®. These are actually made for candles to help them burn more evenly. You can google Illumalid and find many sites for them... they have a great range in variety. I'm giving away this secret stash/lid idea for free, please be kind to me in the future.

you're a good man Jon...nothing but good words on that little tip. Nice looking lid, though they are a little pricey. Quality looks good though...so I guess you get what you pay for.
    Nice potpourri turning!
