    Just saying Hello

    Hello all.

As a new member to the forum, I just wanted to say Hi.

    HI

I have been working with wood for a little while know, I am setting up a small business for my "Retirement" (I'm retiring from the army, not the real world).
I have heard good things out on the Web about the Sawmill Creek Forum. I expect to learn quite a bit, and hope that I can pass on the little that I know.

    See you around.

    Darrin,
Welcome to SMC, and congrats on your upcoming retirement!
I just retired from USAF myself, so empathize with you.
My family lived in Ontario before they snuck into Michigan back in 1860. I'm gonna assume you're some distant cousin, and take pride in your woodworking endeavors.

    Darrin,

Welcome to the Creek. My son has been in the Air Force less than a year. I have a feeling he will be there until he retires.

I am also retired, early from the real world. Moved into SW Washington to be a hermit. My job was in public transit and I likely suffer people shock.

I mostly live in the Neanderthal Haven area of this forum. Electron burners are just more noise than works with my temperament at this time.

One more welcoming you to the Creek. It's a happy place. We don't have unicorns here (as far as I know), but we do have a great group of people. Now I have to go search and see if anyone has ever posted a unicorn on the Creek.

    And I was wrong . . . search complete.
