    EOP Picninc Hall of Famers

Going to this event this weekend was quite an experience. I figure that I would sum it up by creating a list of Hall of Famers.

Here is my list for the EOP picnic:

Ray and Lynn Thompson - for their generosity of having all these strangers at their home
Gary Hern - for bringing the biggest tool
Bill Grumbine - for shooting people with his chip while turning on the walnut thingie
Jennifer - for being so sweet
The little girl calling out the numbers - man, she had lungs for a little person
Ken Salisbury - really lived up to his "grumpy" reputation
Terry Hatfield - one of those good ol boys types that I grew up with, made me feel like I was talking to an old friend (those Arkansas boys were a hoot)
Dave Peebles - for putting up with my many questions
Al Crandall - he showed me how to sharpen my turning gouges, something that has plagued me for a long time.

Statement of the event was by Ken: "I wanna buy me some overalls like that, that come with one of those built in bellies." I won't say who the recipient was.

    Jim,

That little girl I believe was Carly Barber.
Al Crandall had the vacuum chuck.

Hope this helps...I'm trying to put together a list of attendees...
