    Great idea, I have the same saw.....with the same hatred for that mounting of the light. Good tip, I will implement that for sure!!

    Re Micro Switch Mod for Band Saw Tension Release

    This micro switch idea is great, whether to kill the machine or just control the light, and and not a horribly difficult modification.

    To others who added to this tip, way back when, thanks for the tip on NOT using oil when working cast iron.
