    As I stated above, I love this design and execution. You've done something great with the wood ash which I typically find unappealling in fine furniture. About the dovetails, I partially agree with Mark about the dovetails. I think the dovetails should stay exposed but with a different spacing and size pattern. I like to see smaller pins compared to the tails. In larger casework the pins do need to be a bit more substantial than tiny 1/8" pins that seem so popular nowadys. I think a little bit of play with the DT proportions would go a long ways on the next design.

    This is just aimed at the fact they were brought up and really will not be such a big deal to any average person looking at the peice. The peice as a whole is fantastic and think critisizing the DT's is being nitpicky. But that's who we are, woodworkers. We tend to notice these things more than most. Thanks for the inspiration.
