    wood art

This project cost me approx 22.00. The wood was cutoffs or shorts.
sycamore, maple, walnut, spanish cedar, and not sure what the body face is, was told it was some type of south american rosewood. Dont know. Looks good.
Finish is 2 coats waterlox original, waterlox gloss, then a couple of coats of polyurethane gloss.
All coats except first were sanded with 400 grit, last coat with wet 600 gr, waxed with butchers bowling alley wax.
    Fun project, nothing serious.(its 55 inches tall/long)

didnt clean it off in pictures, alot of sawdust from drilling in hardware still on body.

Looks like you're well on your way to becoming a luthier. Nice project.
