Cherry and walnut with a B.E. maple bottom for the tray. Relieved and fret-cut the top. Bowl bit the bottom interior "trays". Not rubbed out or waxed yet but, you get the idea.

Very nice Glenn. Very nicely done. I know that my wife appreciates the handmade things that I have made for her over the years.

Great looking box. Nice work on the lid.
Nice work on the valentines box Glenn. And even finished before Valentines Day. Bonus points buddy....
Beautiful box, Glenn. Superb.
Dang, that make my Red Roses look pretty wilted!
Great job . . . and another +1 on the timing.

I would give you an "A+" on this project, but . . . . I have a very deep personal aversion to piano hinges!
Darn it, that shiny box long hinge ruins the inside view in my opinion. The rest is great, so you only get an "A-"

I like your box very much. Great job on the top.
Great piece! I love the ogee profile on the edge of the lid. The bowl bit cuts on the interior tray is a nice touch. Perfect for the small shiny things these girls have. The splines are nicely done as well. Overall I'm very impressed.
Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. I like the hearts. I am continually amazed at the work that is displayed here on SMC. What I made for my Girlfriend for Valentines day, that was a box. This Mr. Bradley is something altogether different. Thank you for sharing.
