I'm not really good enough to have any opinion on that but "WOW!". Super nice, and I always enjoy your posts and work.

Hi Dave, impeccable workmanship! I would love to hear how you did the dye/stain and finish if you have time to respond

Dave, wonderful craftsmanship on this piece. Lovely choice of lumber as well. A brilliant piece!

Dave, that is a wonderful piece. I also would like see this step by step manual. Are you going to publish it and if so how would we have access to it?

That is a really incredible piece. The figure is is lovely and the workmanship is outstanding. Bravo! I hope you can get some more pictures of this in a year or three as the cherry mellows out and it gets that really rich natural glow!

    Chris,
There isn’t any dye on that piece. The only color that went on it was the glazing which is only visible in the little recesses and on the moldings. I aged the piece a little chemically and finished it with a tung oil varnish blend

One of the best projects ever on this board.

I give you an "A" in all aspects of the project: Design, proportions, wood choice, details, craftsmanship, etc.

    I take that back A PLUS !!!!!

Wow thats really nice. While I am not a fan of William and Mary the construction looks top notch.

Beautiful work!! Is it tacky (no pun intended) to ask how much you sold it for?
