dividers/organizers for kitchen base cabinet drawers

I'm looking for ideas to fabricate dividers for large drawers in kitchen base cabinets for storage of dishes as well as pots and pans

Ah! Interesting one. I've made many "cubby hole" type structures and have discovered that there is no free lunch. Boards have to cross boards. Half laps, Stiles with dados filled in with individual cross members, Discrete trays or boxes stacked together...they all have their shortcomings. And they all take about the same number of operations in the long run. Every time I do one of these I swear I'll do it some other way the next time.

On a side note, cardboard models have helped me in the past.
