Hard to fault that piece! I think the fact that it sold so fast validates your design choices my friend Great work and superb design. Best of luck with your future work too

    Ben,
What are the dimensions of your cabinet? In particular the height... I really like your design, and would like to build something similar for a valentine's present for wife. For now, I'm mounting my TV on the wall tonight, and the height of your unit, which I like the look of, would be useful to know

    Thanks!

Thanks again Dave. I'm away from the shop, so I'll have to give you guestimates on the the dimensions. I don't have my notes in front of me.

    Top is 56 in x 26 1/4
Height of the cabinet is 30 3/4, I believe
Top overhangs the outside of the flared legs at end and edge by 1 3/8, with a 1/2 cove on the underside of the cabinet top
3/16 reveal between the legs and the cabinet members (i.e. the top and bottom rails, and cabinet doors)

I look forward to seeing your design!

Thank you very much Mike. Nice to meet you on SMC. This is a great forum. I'm really glad I recently joined.

I look forward to seeing some of your work. I checked out McKinney Hardwood Lumber. Cool web site. Even cooler materials. Some of those exotics make me want to build something! Best of luck to you as well.
