How to attach fixed elbows to cyclone and other ducting?

I just got the heavy gauge fixed elbows from Oneida to replace a few adjustible elbows in my system. Looking at these, it's not clear to me how to actually attach them to the rest of the system? I got these:

Do I need to use spiral adaptors or is there another way?

    Thanks!

Have you tried to fit the elbows to your pipe? Some ells are made with two small ends and will fit into spiral pipe. If not, a connector is necessary. Crimping this heavy guage pipe is pretty hard to do and will not give a good seal at the joint.
No PHD, but I have a DD 214

    Hi Jim:

I tried that without much luck; also, I got the 8" elbows which will need to attach to the Cyclone outlet. After chatting with Oneida, it looks like I need to use the spiral adapters I mentioned above. I ordered a few from Penn State (as they were much cheaper); hopefully they will work with the Oneida heavy gauge elbows.

If you need more fittings, might check out Kencraft. Best prices I've seen.
