    Clear finish needed

What could anybody recommend as a clear, non yellowing finish for some bowls I've turned. They are segmented and I don't like what shellac looks like on the lighter wood in them. It seems to turn a light amber although the product says it's clear.
Thanks for any help out there.

Deft spray lacquer in the spray cans is the easiest and fastest way to accomplish what you want, although "outside" is the best place to use it. Otherwise, if you need to spray indoors, a water bourne acrylic, such as Target Coatings USL, will do the trick without altering the color.

As to shellac...super blond de-waxed is about as clear as shellac can possibly be, but it will still have a slight amber cast. No way around that.
