    It's a girl!!!

Well it's not Woodworking, but I'm sure she will get her fair share of sawdust on her when she gets older.

Wife had her 20 week ultrasound today for our first child and it's a girl! Do they sell pink hand planes???

Here's the first look at Zoe Kate Shinall, due Feb 25th, 2011.

Hey that's great news - congratulations Joe! I have two young boys myself, not man enough to have girls, I guess. Best of luck to you and your wife during the remainder of her pregnancy and also delivery. Come February, I'm gonna guess that Zoe will have you wrapped around her little finger!!

Congrats. Girls are awesome. You are going to love it.

Megan turns 4 on Jan 5th and Lily turns 1 Nov 6th. Megan is ALWAYS in the shop with me. She helped me build the robot and she has her own toolbox and tools already. She just measured to diez inches on my desk before going to bed in fact. I love playing with my girls SOOOO much.
Glad its my shop I am responsible for - I only have to make me happy.

Thanks for all the congrats. And for all the encouraging words. I had a niece when I was only 6 so I was helping change diapers at an early age. And most of my friends have girls so I'm pretty use to a lot of the stuff. Just gonna change to have my own! Can't wait!

    congratulations!!

I think you may have put this under the wrong forum, though...Pretty sure this would go in "Projects", maybe "Neander", unless, of course, you DID use power tools, in which case...

Haha Neil, I like the cosmoline.

Hey Jaze, Walking into the ultrasound room and seeing those machines i was wondering where the drills and CNC machine were.

If there had been a drill, I can guarantee you that your wife wouldn't have stayed in that room for 1/2 second longer...!!
