Newbie with access to a Epilog Helix laser

Looking for Epilog user experiences I came across "sawmillcreek". Lots of interesting stuff apart from the laser info, it will take a while to read.

There isn't anything you can't find on the creek.
When I first got my laser I read every page and I learned alot as well as getting a ton of project ideas.
Coldstream, is that on Vancouver Island.
