    12" masking material

Hi gang, I need to buy some 12" self adhesive paper masking for lasering. Been using 6" and need wider stuff. I Know I found masking material for very reasonable on the web about a yr ago and I can't for the life of me find it again. I think I bought the 6" from laser bits but does anyone have another reasonable source for masking? thanks Lynn

You can use paper based vinyl application tape for masking , easy to remove and real cheap , it will even withstand limited sandblasting. For real tough masks , you can use the polyester based shiny gold or silver vinyl which is perfectly safe. This will withstand hot acid etch and serious sandblasting but is a real schlep to remove. Both available from any vinyl supplier.

Lasersketch has 12" wide masking film. Look on their laser supply page.
