    Computer Desk

This was built on the order of one that was featured in a WW magazine. I redesigned it to fit our needs. Full extention pull outs on all drawers and shelves. Over the top of the keyboard pull out is a pull out writing shelf. Made from some recylcled Oak over 100 years old. Fun project.

Very nice. My only question is air circulation around the computer. With MB's, chipsets, and video cards running hotter and hotter these days, air circulation around the box is very important to keep things cool. Is the back of the computer drawer ventilated?

    Dave -

Nice work! I really like the writing desk idea, that is a major improvement over the typical computer workstation.

Agree with Kevin on the need for adequate ventilation.

    Regards,
    Ted

Thanks for the kind words. I should have mentioned that I installed a screened opening in the back about the same size as the front where the tower sits. The screen is to prevent the cat from finding a warm place to sleep as well as to provide air circulation.
