Zoysia grass

Hi guys,

I asked this question almost three years ago. The lawn areas are in and growing well.

I ended up using a fescue blend (Marathon II) in the areas near the house, and St. Augustine in a separate area farther away.

I hate Zoysia grass..... I live north of Chicago and before we bought the house someone put it in. It invades everything, stays brown until it is over 75 degrees consistently, and turns brown at the first hint of fall. The only bright side is that when everyone's grass around me is brown in summer, ours is green. I still hate it and want it gone.
