    Marc Adams Article

Did anyone read the Marc Adams Article in the December Popular Woodworking Issue? It was a 3 page article and the one thing that I found real interesting about the article was how he got started in Woodworking.

For those who do not get PW the story is that Marc was never really interested in WW and his Dad was always into to it and just couldn't afford the Shopsmith that he always wanted. His dad finally got the shopsmith and him and Marc got it home, assembled it, and only to have his Dad die the next day without ever cutting anything on it.

Marc couldn't afford the payments and couldn't come to selling it so he kept it and started using it to make items to help pay for it. Tragic but compelling story.

The rest of the article talks about Marc career and his success in woodworking and his school. I really enjoyed the article and maybe someday get to go out to one of his classes.
