    Motor Home

Are there any motor home owners out there? We recently purchased a motorhome, 2010 Winnebago View and are having a blast with it! This is our first MH and there is a huge learning curve. Kind of like woodworking...the more you know the more you find you don't know!

Not a motorhome but we've got a hybrid, which we upgraded to from a popup almost 2 years ago after having that for about 5 years.

Like you said, lots to learn and lots of dodads to buy to (supposedly) make life easier. We've gotten our routine down pretty good where packing, setting up, taking down, and unpacking don't take long at all and we all three know our jobs. Even the dog likes the new one and knows his spots depending on what we are doing--cooking, eating, sleeping, etc.

    Jim,

Watch Camping World and other sites. There are actual schools/classes you can attend. My neighbors are much more RVer's than we ever were. They have attended several of these classes...met some fellow RVers and travel the country with their new friends.

We just sold our 26' 5th wheel last September as our life situation had changed and we just weren't using it. It hadn't moved in 6 years.

So much to learn, so little time.....

We've owned a motorhome for a long time, started with a small gas engine model, got a little bigger diesel and now have a 40' diesel. We love everything about traveling in it. The best source I have found is the RV.net website. Sort of a sawmill creek for RV's.

We are on our 5th motorhome. Started small, went bigger, then downsized to a 27' Born Free.

We like to travel, and having 2 German Shepherds, RV'ing was the only way to go.
