    Polyurethane Flexible Hose

Can someone give me an idea on what this type of hose costs. I have looked at several sites and they do not have prices only requests for quotes, also sources you bought it from. I am particularly interested in 6", in Australia it is hard to find and a ridiculous price. Thanks.

Not sure about polyurethene, but you'd probably do better searching for "pipe or tubing"
Here in the States Polyethelyene Pipe 6" (which is pressure rated and somewhat flexible) goes for around 4-5-bucks a foot.

Just checked Grizzly's site, they list 4"x20' hose at $30.00.

Oops. Read your post again. Six inch . 6"x10' clear, wire reinforced hose-$50.

No idea how that converts in Australian dollars.

By the way, Grizzly's hose is measured fully stretched, not relaxed. That hose is about 8' relaxed.

    Chris,

Here is 50' of 4" for $55.00 greenbacks.

I had the black semi-ridged and just hated it. I got a box of this stuff and LOVE it. Works great, especialy if you have to move your tools around at all.

I'm not sure the free shipping will apply to the "Down Under" but best of luck that it does. I don't think you can go wrong.

Wait - these domestic hoses are spiraled clockwise. Will they even work in Austrailia? I thought those hoses had to be spiralled counter-clockwise????

Sorry, Ken - I just couldn't resist that one. Nearing fishing season, and I wanted to see if I could get an early bite.

Comedians. Seriously, has anyone used it? I recall seeing it mentioned here once before and it seems to me that it is lighter and more flexible than the normal stuff.

Ken, that is an unbelievable price and thanks for the feedback. It seems like a far better product, the other stuff is like wrestling an octupus, it never goes where you want it.

To give you an idea of different pricing between the two countries, I want to buy a Hitachi brad nailer, Australia $220 AUD, the US off Amazon $65 USD + Shipping. I guess I am buying it off Amazon!
