Good luck to Bob. I wish him well in his retirement.
No matter a person's opinion on Festool, Bob believed in what he was selling with a passion, and that can be rare these days. It was more than just a way to make a living to Bob.
    He'll be missed.

He was there since the beginning, around the mid 90s

I have been a customer of Uncle Bob!s since he first started as a dealer. Great guy who has helped me many times. While there are many dealers now for Festool I stayed with Bob as he always gave me detailed advice.

Enjoy your retirement Bob. Time flies by fast!

Yes, I got the email from him. I wish him the best of luck in retirement.

I sent him a contradulatory message after receiving the notification. Bob has been "my guy" from the beginning, too. The only Festool item I have that wasn't bought from him is a drill/driver that I recently purchased "pre-owned" from another 'Creeker. We even had a fun "Fesstool-val" at my shop years ago. I'll miss buying from him, but fortunately the market is rich with suppliers and the pricing is all the same.

I only drank the Cool Aid once but Bob was a pleasure to deal with.

Happy retirement Bob, you'll wonder why you waited so long!
