    setup and alignments

The manuals supplied with the laser are so so ,is there a way to test to see if you're getting the best cut/or burn.It comes with disk with crosshairs so you can fire the laser and this disk set in the last mirror shows alignment, how about focus?

    Stan,
The easiest way to ensure focus is to laser a line on a piece of material that is slanted. That allows you to laser from the lower end to the higher end and see where it's sharpest - that's where it's in focus. This is harder to describe than it is to do or show, hopefully it makes sense.
