    Me, too. Works great.

Just got through running a fair number of BF of African Mahogany through it, an hour ago, in fact. I couldn't find even a hint of snipe

Newly acquired Shop Fox 20", 4-knife cutterhead.

But I owe everything to my trusty ol' Rockwell RC33, 13-1/8" planer. It has literally planed MILES of hardwood since I bought it barely used in 1985. If only it had jack screws for knife setting, I would rehab it completely and keep it for the rest of my woodworking days!

12-1/2" and dreaming of a 15" spiral. After using an indexed head I just couldn't drop any money on a knifed machine again.

Delta DC-33 uses jack screws. My bet says that the two heads are interchanagable. Global Tooling list the same knives for DC-33, and RC-33. Someone over at OWWM could probably verify this. If Byrd makes a shelix to fit your machine, then most likely someone has an old head. I checked over at Holbern, and they sell a shelix to fit your machine ($895). Brian could probably tell you if has sold any, and to whom. Which means someone may have a head with jack screws laying around gathering dust. New replacement one is $549.
