It looks like your in the same decision making process I was in a couple of years ago. I posted on your jointer poll also.
I have the 20" Grizzly GO454Z with the spiral head. It really performs great. Again as I said with the 12" jointer, I don't see where I would need anything bigger but wouldn't want anything smaller. I can run most of my glued up door panels through the 20" planer which eliminates alot of the sanding I was having to do when I just had a 12 planer.
Ridgid R4330, 13" portable (yeah, right)
I have a DeWalt DW735, courtesy of HD.

Wow Van you are on one today. Seems like you are building a second shop somewhere.
I have the Jet-208HH. Very rarely have I needed larger. When I do I just do the glueups after planing.
15" Bridgewood. Same as others with the motor in the base, and 4 columns.
Dewalt DW735 w/ Byrd Shelix.

While Genuis may be handicapped by limits, Stupidity does not suffer the same affliction - Let's be careful out there!
DW735.....thanks HD for letting me give 300 out the door for it!
DeWalt 735. I often wish I had a wider planer.

Go into the world and do well. But more importantly, go into the world and do good.
Another proud clearance price DW735 owner.
I've now got a restored Parks 12" from the mid 40's.
