    It looks like your in the same decision making process I was in a couple of years ago. I posted on your jointer poll also.

    I have the 20" Grizzly GO454Z with the spiral head. It really performs great. Again as I said with the 12" jointer, I don't see where I would need anything bigger but wouldn't want anything smaller. I can run most of my glued up door panels through the 20" planer which eliminates alot of the sanding I was having to do when I just had a 12 planer.

    Wow Van you are on one today. Seems like you are building a second shop somewhere.

    I have the Jet-208HH. Very rarely have I needed larger. When I do I just do the glueups after planing.

    Grizzly GO454 with Byrd Shelix cutterhead. Also have DeWalt and Delta lunchbox planers with two knife cutterheads which have their place. (The Delta has really taken a beating and still works very well....good tool).

    The last York-craft 5 HP (same as Grizzly and parts inter-changeable) 20" Curt Wilke had when he closed Wilkie Machinery..
