    Sneak a peek spalted Holly

Last week i found a cedar tree on Creagslist that needed to come down.
Not owning a chainsaw i needed to barrow one off my dad so when i got to dads house well you know he had some things he needed me to help out with one of them was two Holly trees down in the woods in back of his house. He had told me thay had been there for over a year and that thay just had to go. Sure Dad i'll be more then happy to halp ya out!!! So we loaded the wood and off to the job. A week later today in fact he came over any we spent the complete day working on the lathe great fun spent time with dad. He was amazed at what we could do.

So without any further ado here is my 1st spalted project/box.
Holly 2-1/2" H by 5"W finish will be Danish Oil.

Eric - great looking wood! Looking forward to seeing the finished project!

Always great to hear when family likes to get involved with turning! Make the most of it and cherish every moment - those memories will last you a lifetime!

Really nice wood and good looking turning. Can't wait to see it finished.
