What's Your Thoughts on the Griz G0658VS?

I see the Delta 46-460 given a lot of press here but I purchase my Griz G0658VS long before I found this forum. I am curious if anyone else here has one and if there is anything that I should be concerned about given that it isn't a Delta. It is shy 1/4HP and 1/2" turning diameter but other then that I don't see a lot of difference. I mean "D" and "G" are real close in the alphabet.. Does or has anyone see/seen any differences that could be problematic in the long term?

Edit: BTW it allows Outboard truning which is larger then 12"

    Take a look here - http://www.grizzly.com/products/12-x...od-Lathe/G0658

I have only used mine to make pens but I have not had the first problem with it in 6 months of ownership. Perhaps someone else on the forum has used one for larger projects.
