    Lasering stainless

    Hi all,

I have received some samples of stainless thermal coffee mugs/cups/glasses from Marck & Associates to experiment with.
One is red, one is blue and one is the plain stainless. I realize for the plain one that I need to use cermark ( or some other such solution) but is it possible to laser the color from the others leaving the clean stainless base behind as the engraving?
    Enquiring minds want to know.

    Thanks

    Hey Chuck,

If the color on the stainless is a layer of its own, you should be able to just engrave that way.
But if the color is part of the metal you will need to use the Cermark/Thermark.
