    Faces to Vectors

I have been trying to remember a plug in or a program that turns a raster face image into a series of horizontal lines. The lines were horizontal and I don't remember if they were varying in thickness or broken. It was quite a cool way to graphically render an image. I thought it might work kind of cool on an edge lit sign.

    Anyone remember anything like this?

Vaughan there is a photoshop plugin called engraver which might be what you are looking for. They are relatively easy to use but obtaining the perfect result is a little more difficult.

Corel Photopaint has a number of "special effects" which may include this.

I haven't used it lately but I remember some of the effects like stained glass, impressionist, and embossed.
