    Another Monster HF

This is my latest HF and it is number 5 out of 7 attempts at hollowing a vessel. I used my Kelton 3/4" tools for roughing and the Monster Articulated system for the finish work.

The opening is 1" and it is 6" in diameter and 4" tall. The finish is walnut oil and buffed. This is not from the same tree as the other pieces I posted.

    C&C is most welcome.

Love the color!! Very appealing form, too.

Beautiful work! I don't think you could have shaped this one any better. Your choice of finish seems unusual to me. I think of walnut oil as a food safe finish and this piece is not likely to hold food.

Thanks very much for the kind words about my turning. Here are some better photos. I noticed after posting, the pics needed a better field of focus.

Dennis, you asked about the walnut oil finish. All finishes are food safe after curing. I like the look of the wood with walnut oil and it cures pretty quickly. With a light buffing, I get a low sheen finish.
