I notice that some messages posted on the turning forum show up on the new Posts list while others don't. Is there a reason for this?

What you do today determines what you can do tomorrow.
The rules for selecting New Posts are the same on each of the forums.. There is however a 45 minute window--once you are inactive for 45 minutes, all of your posts will be marked as read.Originally Posted by Don Henthorn Smithville, TX
I suggest that once you click on new posts, go through the search results SHIFT+CLICKing on the threads you want to read. In IE, this will open the threads in a new window. This way, you can quickly run through the New Posts, mark the forums read, and then find the posts that changed since you started reading.

As an example I have posted a couple messages on the turning forum and they have never shown up on the New Post list when I log on. Doesn't really matter. I was just curious.

It could also be your ISP or browser cache getting involved; there are some threads in the Support Forum on how to resolve problems with New Posts not showing up.Originally Posted by Don Henthorn Smithville, TX

Thank you; glad to join this group. Until I figure out how to maneuver through this, I'll kick it off with this; I have owned the Pro 4 ft'r and 8 ft'r Tru-Grip Professional Clamping Straight Edge Guide for many years; I have been unable to locate the saw guide that accompanied this guide. Any suggestions?
Your point is what? Spam? I asked a simple question about a saw plate.
Jose, until you learn how to maneuver around, forums, particularly large ones like SMC can be confusing. Go over to our General Woodworking & Power Tools forum to ask your question: https://sawmillcreek.org/forumdispla...nd-Power-Tools

I would also suggest you look at the dates of posts. In this case the last post in this thread was made 14 years ago.
