You have the piece nicely finished. Most folks would suggest that the widest part of the turning should be approx. 1/3 the height from either the top or the bottom, but never in the middle. On the plus side the piece seems to have a continuous smooth curvature with no flat spots. That can sometimes be rather difficult to achieve. I roll a straight steel rule along the profile of the work and any place it will not roll smoothly is a flat spot. Had to repeat some finish cuts on a piece this afternoon to fix that very problem.
