Spalted Red Oak Burl and African Blackwood

I know a haven't posted much, but I wanted to show one of latest pieces. The burl came from a huge red oak on my property. Thanks, Brian.

Thanks Steve. I've been making duck, goose predator and turkey calls for 15 years and only recently (4 years ago) stepped into the vortex of real woodturning. I must say its addictive. Here's a few other pieces I've made.

Nice - very nice! Really like the game call! First time I've seen one with snake skin! Also - that is quite the gloss - can see you taking the photo in the band!

Hope this means you will start posting on a more regular basis! Lots of folks here will appreciate your work!

Steve, I will definitely start posting more. I just moved into a new house and shop and unpacked everything. This was the first piece to come out of it. I'm glad to be back in operation.
