Would this describe how I feel about your box?

    WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW.
    Did I mention WOW?
I like the way you finished it. For Curly Maple I like to flood on boiled linseed oil and after5-10 minutes wipe it off. Then let it dry for week and spray lacquer -5 light coats, sanding just about the same as you, but skip 2000 grit, from 320 grit I use 3M Perfect-It 3000 Swirl Mark Remover and 3M Perfect-It 3000 final glaze. I feel the boiled linseed oil really makes the grain pop. Any way, I really like, and am impressed with your work!

Thanks very much. I'll try the BLO way you use. I'm always up for new ways. I too use the 3-M perfect product. I use the rubbing compound. I'll have to get back to you as to which one it is. I use a Maguires car polish to finish off with. Thanks again.

    Alright Bill,
Man I have some catching up to do! Nice project. Will you continue to try more marquetry?
