Thanks for the compliments everyone. Mother nature does most of the work. I just try and bring it out to be seen. I still have one more bowl out of the oak burl to return. After that I will have a few game calls and wine stoppers when the slabs dry, I cut from the oak burl.
Mike, I turned both green and dried them in paper bags. I returned both after they where dry. On nature edge pieces I turn them to finish thickness green, but I like to return pieces with a turned rim so that it is not out of round. It is just a personal thing.
