    Grinder Tool Rest

A couple of weekends ago, I bought a $5 single speed 6" grinder. I have a 120 grit aluminum oxide (the white one) stone to replace one of the lousy coarse wheels on it.

Since it is a garage sale find, it did not come with any tool rests. I have seen several wooden/shop built rests. Does anyone have photos of yours, or links to possible rests? I have seen the Veritas accessory rests, and the Wolverine system, but am investigating one that I can make myself first.

    Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to one that I copied when I made mine. It works very well. I hope it does for you.

If you can screw a piece of 1/8 or so steel or alum to the top it'll last longer .
